In the modern workforce, multi-skilled, with less traditional career paths and ever more complex reporting structures, we all rely more heavily on our brand. It’s crucial to manage how we are perceived by the individuals who will ultimately have a bearing on our future opportunity. I can help you to identify your brand, to understand how that brand is impacting the opinions of others, and focus you on a development plan which is centred on ensuring you build an authentic and sustainable professional brand. My role is to coach your discovery process, and to guide you in your development plan. The commitment is down to you, but as your conscience we can works together to achieve great results.
Brand Management usually takes the form of 6 x 50min coaching sessions, with a discovery, development and review process completed over the course of the sessions. This can be extended specifically on brand management if there is an identified campaign or goal you may have, or brand management can be incorporated as one aspect of on-going business or personal coaching.
I have a broad background in my career, but a specific specialism is consistent throughout. I use aspirational goal-setting and empowerment as tools to achieve business objectives, often innovating to achieve greater results. Technical support, technical sales, software and services sales and sales leadership are skills in my backpack, but ultimately the Coaching relationship is about you. My skill is to help you to problem solve - to diagnose and understand, to make defined changes and to execute your plan. I will predominantly coach you to achieve your business goals, bringing my experience to bear in the form of questioning and probing your challenges, beliefs and motivation. I will hold a mirror up to you, to help you develop through better understanding and clarity of plan.
Business Coaching can take the form of 6 x 50min coaching sessions, structured around a particular goal, challenge or area of development that you bring to the table. The sessions can be isolated to focus on different issues, but it’s more productive to give the time to develop the deep understanding of the issue as you perceive it, your limiting beliefs, and the motivational factors which when identified and focused on will power you to new heights. On-going coaching can be beneficial to develop focus on new goals, or to continue to benefit from the invaluable personal accountability that coaching achieves
Throughout my career I have held individual contributor and leadership positions, but in each case I have always focused on the people. In sales, everything is about influencing the people you are looking to provide your products and services to, and it’s all about them. In working within a collaborative sales or technical environment, it’s crucial to invest in your orchestration and people skills, to build the best team, motivate them, and align everyone to a common goal. My biggest pleasure in managing a team is seeing how the empowerment of individuals within this vision and goal oriented framework can enable great things to happen. For Personal Coaching, the conversation is all about your persona, be it in a business, non-business, family, social or other setting. To drive forward, we need a clear map. Personal Coaching is designed to help you to draw your map, understand your priorities and to focus on what to execute.
Personal Coaching takes the form of 50min coaching sessions which are open-ended. Weekly or Bi-Weekly are preferred frequencies, but monthly can also work well. I prefer to allow the discussion to broaden and shrink to focus in a natural way as we develop. It’s driven by you, and what’s important to you at that time. Personal coaching could achieve your desired results in one or two sessions, or you may wish to see Personal Coaching as the foundational element on which you place and build all other aspects of your personal and business life.
